TNS ADDS IN STORE FACTOR TO ITS RETAIL AND SHOPPER BUSINESS

In Store Factor will become part of our Retail and Shopper business
London - October 21, 2010 - TNS, the world's largest custom research company, today announced that In Store Factor will become part of its Retail and Shopper business. In Store Factor was founded by former Envirosell employees Fabio Trabucchi and Lee Smith in Milan in 2003, and has been involved in projects for retailers and manufacturers across Europe, the US and Asia since then.
The addition of In Store Factor builds on previous acquisitions to TNS' Retail and Shopper business - TNS Sorensen in the US, TNS Magasin in the UK, and TNS Zdology in China - and further strengthens the global leadership position of the company in shopper research.
Fabio Trabucchi and Lee Smith, who have more than 30 years shopper research experience between them, have both joined TNS, with Fabio heading the Retail & Shopper practice in Italy, and Lee joining the Global Retail & Shopper team.
