TNS Rl Qualitative team got creative at a recent Research Liberation Front Event
The TNS Research International Qualitative team got creative at a recent Research Liberation Front Event. As a spin-off to the main conference, research companies were invited to submit entries into the ‘Raiders of the Lost Art' exhibition - the aim was to showcase inspiring pieces of work the world of research has produced. A number of research companies submitted various entries including respondent drawings, videos of online research, second life focus groups, early stage concepts and respondent diaries. All entries were displayed in the Young Vic Theatre on 23rd March 2010 and were put to a popular vote.
TNS' piece called My Flake and I, was constructed using poems created by respondents who were asked to describe what Cadbury's Flake meant to them. Using these poems the team created a visually engaging and inspiring piece of artwork. The poems clearly impressed the client, but also the crowd of people who came to view the exhibition - gaining it the ‘Popular Vote Award'.'
A special recognition goes to TNS-RI qualitative team members' Milly Chu, Consultant, who was the creative artist behind the artwork and Rachael Holmes Director who came up with the respondent pre-task that inspired the piece.
Renu Sachdeva, Head of Consumer Qualitative, TNS-RI, said: "Another excellent example of the inspirational and creative thinking needed to be a successful researcher. Well done all."
