Pedro Ros
Managing Director of Global Clients & Sectors/CEO North America
Pedro has served TNS as MD of Global Clients and Sectors since January 2006. He is also a PLC executive board member at TNS. In March 2008 he assumed additional responsibilities as CEO for TNS North America.
In his role as MD of Global Clients and Sectors, Pedro has defined and implemented a strategy to service our major global clients. This strategy is driven by our expertise across global industry sectors including FMCG, Technology, Finance, Healthcare, Automotive and Political & Social, as well as global accounts internationally.
With over 20 years of management experience across various areas of business and geographical regions in TNS, Pedro brings to TNS a unique view of the research business globally. Pedro also held the position of Chairman of Latinpanel from 1999 to 2006.
Prior to joining TNS, Pedro worked in the banking and toiletries industries. He has a degree in Economics from Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona and has completed Management programs at Michigan University / IESE and Stanford University.

Tim Bowles
Chief Operating Officer
Tim Bowles currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for TNS North America.
In his thirty five years of market research experience he has successfully managed market research businesses, both large and small, for some of the best known global market research providers. He has served as Chief Executive for Synovate (Western Europe), Group President (International Operations) for Information Resources Inc. (IRI), and Chief Executive of MRB Group (now absorbed into Kantar). He also served as Managing Director of both main British subsidiaries of AGB Research, in the days before its acquisition by TNS. He possesses a wealth of expertise across all key sectors and within numerous market research disciplines including consumer surveys, social research, qualitative and media research, consumer panels and retail market measurement.
Mr. Bowles is a highly regarded market research industry author and a frequent contributor to marketing research seminars and courses. He has published more that 25 papers on research methodology and industry issues. He has served in top leadership positions in industry organizations which include the Marketing Group of Great Britain, the Association of Market Survey Organizations and the UK’s Market Research Society.
He holds a degree in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and carried out post graduate research both at Newcastle and at University College, London.

Enzo Micali
Executive Vice President; Chief Information Officer
Enzo is the Chief Information Officer for the North America Custom Research business of TNS, a position he assumed in January 2006. He is responsible for leading the N. A. Custom Research’s Information Technology organization in enabling the Market Research Firm of the Future through applied advance technology and integrated business functionality. He is also responsible for setting the technology direction and integrating services across North America into a cohesive, homogeneous set of services in support of business growth. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Enzo plays an important role in the growth and success of the business through applied technology.
Prior to joining TNS, Enzo served as CIO/Senior Vice President for 1-800-FLOWERS.COM from 2000 through 2006, where he was responsible for overseeing all technology plans and programs for the online retailer and its eight subsidiaries. Enzo helped 1-800-FLOWERS.COM identify key leverage points in e-commerce, aligned IT and business goals, and also drove improvements in inventory and order fulfillment.
Before joining 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Enzo served as CTO for Inslogic, a business-to-business software provider supporting financial institutions and internet portals serving the insurance industry. He has also held key IT roles at Chase Manhattan Bank, PriceWaterhouse Coopers Consulting, Deloitte & Touche, and Chemical Bank.
Enzo has garnered several high-profile industry awards including ComputerWorld’s Premier 100 IT Leader Award (2005), CIO Magazine’s Top 100 CIO Award (2005), InformationWeek’s Leading User of Technology Award (2004), and one of InfoWorld’s Most Influential CTOs (2003).

Sam Thayer
President, Client Services
Sam Thayer is the President of Client Services for the North American Custom Research business, a position he assumed in July 2008. Prior to this, he held the position of Global head for Financial Services, a position he assumed in August of 2006 and before that was responsible for the finance sector business in the US, responsible for all TNS financial services sector business.
Sam’s finance sector expertise includes corporate and institutional banking, property/casualty insurance, and investment services. He has provided strategic marketing research including market structure and segmentation, new product development, brand/advertising tracking, competitive positioning and customer loyalty measurement.
Previously, Sam was a principal at Abt Associates (Cambridge, MA), a partner at Harbridge House (Boston, MA) now a Price Waterhouse Coopers subsidiary, and an officer in the International Investment area at JPMorgan (New York, NY).
Sam is a Trustee of the Marketing Sciences Institute. Sam received his B.A. from Trinity College (Hartford, CT), and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School (Boston, MA).

Peter Movesian
Executive Vice President, Human Resources
Peter is the President of Human Resources and has been with TNS since 2003. He is responsible for all of TNS’ North American businesses in the U.S. and Canada, including Custom Research, Healthcare and Media Intelligence. He is primarily focused on building and maintaining a strategic HR function for the company that ensures acquisition and retention of the very best industry talent to serve client business needs, deliver consultative insight and customized research solutions. In 2006, TNS recruited for and hired over 200 North American positions under his charge.
Peter directs all strategic and tactical development and initiatives for the company's North American Recruitment, Learning & Organizational Development, Compensation & Benefits and Rewards & Recognition functions. Additionally, he holds executive responsibility for TNS' ongoing regional culture-building initiatives focused on employee satisfaction, workplace quality and retention. He serves on TNS' global HR executive team representing the interests of North American employees and ensuring understanding and adherence to TNS’ corporate values and vision.
Peter joined TNS from Universal Music Group where he was SVP globally for HR, working across some 63 countries. Prior to that, he was VP of Organization Effectiveness for MTV Networks having been promoted from Director, Organization Development & Training. He has also worked for the Prudential Insurance Company and the New York Consulting Group. Peter has a broad generalist HR background, combined with considerable experience in change management and merger and integration activity.
He holds a Masters degree in Organizational Psychology. He has membership in the Senior Network Global HR Professionals, SHRM, the OD Network and the Organizational Psychology Professional Organization.

Susan Pikitch
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Susan Pikitch is Chief Financial Officer for TNS’ North American Custom Research business.
Susan is an exceptional business and finance executive with more than 25 years of broad-based experience in the financial, professional and information services sectors. Prior to joining TNS she served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Operations for Standard & Poor’s Corporate Value Consulting business and the company’s Chief Financial Officer leading the finance, administration, strategic planning and integration functions across 14 global offices.
Susan has a strong track record in implementing large-scale financial systems, mergers and acquisitions, and building talented and motivated financial teams. Throughout her 22 years at Standard & Poor’s she directed all aspects of financial planning, reporting and analysis, and global accounting. She was credited with negotiating numerous acquisitions, equity investments and service agreements and orchestrated significant financial process improvements and cost reductions.
As CFO and member of TNS Custom’s Senior Leadership Team, Susan is responsible for the oversight of the company’s Operational Finance, Accounting, and Pricing and Project Accounting groups in the US and Canada. She is responsible for all TNS North American Custom budgeting and forecasting initiatives and activities and liaises with other North American businesses to deliver regional financial results to TNS’ global organization.
Susan holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University Stern School of Business.
